47. Whenever, under the provisions of these bylaws, notice is required to be given to any director, officer or stockholder, it shall not be construed to mean personal notice, but such notice may be given in writing, by depositing the same in the postoffice or letter box, in a postpaid sealed wrapper, addressed to such stockholder, officer or director at such address as appears on the books of the corporation, or, in default of other address, to such director, officer or stockholder at the General Postoffice in the city of Indianapolis, Indiana, and such notice shall be deemed to be given at the time when the same shall be thus mailed.

Any stockholder, director, or officer may waive any notice required to be given under these by-laws.

(28) Amendments

50. The stockholders, by the affirmative vote of a majority of the stock issued and outstanding, may at any regular, or at any special meeting, alter or amend these by-laws, if notice thereof be contained in the notice of the meeting. ________

(29) Minutes Of First Meeting Of Incorporators

The first meeting of the incorporators was held on the 9th day of June, 1914, at 4 o'clock P. M., at the office of the corporation, at Indianapolis, Indiana, pursuant to a written waiver of notice signed by all the incorporators, fixing said time and place.
