Fold 2 and 4 to 1 and 3, making an oblong. Fold AB up one inch.

Repeat, turning over each time, until all is folded into a strip one inch wide.

Then fold the strip in the center making a narrower strip one-half inch wide.

At one end, fasten a band close to the edge. About three inches up, fasten another band, completing the handle. Above this band, spread the pleats forming the umbrella.
