No. 945. - The Oak Germander is a small perennial European plant, the leaves and tops of which have an agreeable aromatic odor, diminished by drying, and a bitter, somewhat astringent, aromatic, durable taste. They have been used as a corroborant in uterine, rheumatic, gouty, and scrofulous affections, and intermittent fevers. Pick the flowers, remove the petals, and dry them.
