Use any biscuit recipe. Make as soft as can be handled, roll to one-half inch in thickness, and cut in rounds. Brush half of them with softened butter substitute; spread with brown or grated maple sugar; put together in pairs. Place in oiled pans, barely touching each other, and bake in hot oven.
