3 eggs. 1 1/2 cups Henkel's flour. 1 cup sugar. 1 teaspoon Royal baking powder. 2 tablespoons cold water.

Beat eggs and sugar together; add water; then flour and baking powder. Bake in 2 tins and split while hot.

Cream Filling.

1 pint fresh milk. 2 tablespoons cornstarch. 1/2 cup sugar. 1 egg.

Heat milk in double boiler; mix sugar and cornstarch with little of cold milk; pour into hot milk and cook until thick. Add 1 egg, well beaten, and piece of butter size of egg. Do not let boil after egg and butter are added as it may curdle. Flavor to taste. Mrs. Lester.
