All peck, quart, each, pound and dozen prices are retail; all bunch, box, bushel, barrel and hundred rates wholesale, except where noted.
With the approach of the holidays, the fruit trade has materially increased and trade may be said to be good. Oranges and grapes are in good supply, and prices high for choice lots. A few Mandarins and Tangerines are noticed, but their scarcity makes them high in price. There is a good demand for choice apples, which are firmly held by dealers; common stock is almost at a stand-still. As a whole business is good.
