By Robert Hogg, LL.D., F.L.S., etc. 'Journal of Horticulture' Office, 171 Fleet Street.

Another well-known and much-appreciated Annual, containing a great many useful tables, an almanac, a comprehensive and well-written calendar, copious notes on new and notable fruits, with numerous illustrations of the same. Vegetables are treated in the same way. It has lists of all the new plants of 1870. Besides this, and a mass of other useful information, it contains a directory of gardeners in Great Britain and Ireland, which in itself is a very useful and interesting feature.
