There is much truth in your paper, but we do not think its publication would do any good; and seeing you merely give your initials, you should not criticise others because they conceal their names.

The pages of this magazine at least are open to gardeners of all classes, subject to editorial discrimination as to their papers being such as are likely to serve the interests for which it is conducted, and you must see that this is absolutely necessary.
