1. Pencil, rule, knife, and dividers

1. Square and true stock.

2. 1-2 inch bit and bit stock

2. Draw outline of ends, lay out and cut mortises.

2. Shelves at right angles

3. Turning saw and half-round file

3. Curve sawing

4. Marking gauge and try - square

3. Draw outline and lay out tenons of shelves.

5. Block plane and Jack plane

4. Make keys.

5. Sandpaper carefully.

6. Stain, fill, and varnish.
