Bisect right and left edges and find center of square. Open the dividers 3 1-2' and with the center of the square as a center inscribe a circle. With the same point as a center inscribe a 4" circle. Place the ruler from right to left across the paper through the center and where it crosses the circumference of the smaller circle, place points.
Exercise No. 12. - With these points as centers and with a radius equal to 1 3-4' describe arcs above the center, between the circumference of the circles. Place the ruler across the paper through intersection of arcs and the center, and where it crosses the circumference of the smaller circle place points. Join all adjacent points and extend the lines to the circumference of the larger circle. Cut along the circumference of larger circle, cut away triangular corners, fold up the sides and sew from the model.
