In an action by real estate brokers for commissions on a sale, where the question in dispute is whether plaintiffs had authority to sell at the price named, an entry in plaintiff's books of the price agreed on, made by them in defendant's presence and at the time of their conversation with him, is admissible in evidence, though written in cipher.
