Evidence that defendant purchased the land and so was lia-hle for the services of plaintiff, to be paid for if defendant made the purchase. Held, sufficient to go to the jury, though the contract of purchase and the deed were taken in the name of defendant's wife. Block v. Lowe, 99 N. Y. S. 951, 51 Misc. 8.
